One price, plainly stated
No introductory rate that triples in month four, no bundle you have to phone to escape, no equipment rental. The number on the pricing page is the number you pay, once.
An Ottawa-based streaming operator that has spent eleven years doing one thing: getting television onto Canadian screens without a dish, a box, or a two-year contract.
Zone4K began in 2015 in a converted Ottawa office with three engineers, a rack of servers and a fairly specific frustration: Canadian television cost too much, delivered too little, and made it unreasonably difficult to watch anything that was not produced within two thousand kilometres of Toronto.
Eleven years later the frustration has become an operation serving households from St. John’s to Victoria. We have not rebranded, we have not reset our subscriber base, and we have not gone quiet on anybody. In an industry where providers routinely disappear between billing cycles, that continuity is the thing we are most deliberate about protecting.
What has not changed is the shape of the offer. One catalogue. One quality tier. One honest price list with no basic tier engineered to be inadequate. You can read the entire channel lineup before you pay a cent.
Figures reviewed quarterly and published whether or not they flatter us.
| Metric | Current figure | How it is measured |
|---|---|---|
| Verified uptime | 99.9% | Synthetic monitoring across Canadian edge nodes, rolling 90 days |
| Live channels | 22,000+ | Active streams in the published lineup |
| On-demand titles | ~90,000 | Films, series and documentaries in the VOD library |
| Median first support reply | 11 min 40 s | WhatsApp and email, last calendar quarter |
| Years operating | 11 | Continuous service since 2015 |
| EPG depth | 14 days | Forward listings on every channel publishing them |
No introductory rate that triples in month four, no bundle you have to phone to escape, no equipment rental. The number on the pricing page is the number you pay, once.
No chatbot triage, no ticket that ages for four days. Message us and a technician who can actually reach the server replies — at two in the afternoon or two in the morning.
Every subscription is created manually and checked before the credentials go out. It costs us a few minutes per order and saves a great many failed first evenings.
We do not build viewing profiles, we do not sell subscriber lists, and we hold operational data only as long as the retention table in our privacy policy permits.
A single authorised connection per line is what keeps streams stable at this price. We would rather be honest about the limit than oversell a connection that stutters.
Every provincial CBC and Radio-Canada feed, the full TSN, RDS and Sportsnet spread, and the regional broadcasters that international providers routinely omit.
The roadmap is unglamorous on purpose. More Canadian regional carriage, particularly in the Atlantic provinces and the territories. Deeper French-language coverage from Quebec and France. Continued expansion of the on-demand library at roughly a thousand titles a month. And a steady programme of server capacity increases in Toronto and Montreal so that the uptime figure above keeps its third decimal place.
We are not building an app store, a hardware line or a social feature. We are building a television service that works when you sit down at eight o’clock.
