Eighteen answers covering everything our Ottawa support desk is asked most often — from bandwidth requirements to what happens when a channel stalls.
If your question is not answered below, write to the support desk — the median first reply last quarter was under twelve minutes, at any hour.
Zone4K is a Canadian IPTV subscription service delivering more than 22,000 live television channels and roughly 90,000 on-demand films, series and documentaries over your existing internet connection. Coverage spans Canadian and American networks plus British, French, Arabic, South Asian, Latin American and African broadcasters, with particularly deep sports carriage. Playback runs through IBO Player on one authorised device.
Yes. Zone4K operates from Ottawa, Ontario, and our support desk is staffed in Canadian time zones. That matters in practice: when your stream drops during a Saturday night hockey game, somebody who understands what you are watching answers.
We have been delivering IPTV continuously since 2015 — eleven years without a rebrand, a reset or a disappearing act. In a sector where providers routinely vanish overnight with a quarter of subscribers paid up, longevity is the single most useful signal you have.
No, and almost nobody does. Zone4K needs nothing but an internet connection. No dish, no cable box, no installer appointment, no contract with a national carrier. The great majority of our subscribers cancelled their previous television package within the first month.
New customers start on the Try 1 Month intro plan at CA$10.99. After that: 1 month at $15.99, 3 months at $24.99, 6 months at $39.99, or 12 months at $69.99. Every plan carries the identical catalogue — you are only buying time. Full detail sits on the pricing page.
No. Zone4K charges once for the term you purchase and nothing afterwards. You receive an email reminder two days before expiry with a renewal link. Ignore it and the line simply stops.
Major credit and debit cards, and Interac e-Transfer for Canadian customers. All checkout traffic is TLS encrypted, and card details are handled entirely by the payment processor — Zone4K never sees or stores a card number.
All sales are final once credentials are issued and activated, which is standard practice for instantly delivered digital goods. The exceptions are a verified outage on our side beyond 72 consecutive hours (pro-rata credit) and a duplicate charge (refunded in full). This is precisely why the intro month exists. See the refund policy for the complete position.
Anything that runs IBO Player: Amazon Fire TV Stick and Cube, Android TV boxes, Nvidia Shield, Android phones and tablets, Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), macOS, LG televisions on WebOS, and Samsung televisions on Tizen. The full per-platform walkthrough is on the setup guide.
Yes — IBO Player, and only IBO Player. Zone4K is configured, tested and supported exclusively on that application. It carries a small one-off licence fee paid directly to its developer after a short evaluation period; that is separate from your Zone4K subscription.
One at a time, per subscription. Simultaneous logins from different locations trigger an automatic lock on the line. Households needing a second screen should take a second subscription — ask us about the multi-line rate.
15 Mbps for reliable 4K, 8 Mbps for full HD, and around 5 Mbps for standard HD. Most Canadian home connections clear this comfortably. Wired ethernet always beats Wi-Fi for a television, and 5 GHz beats 2.4 GHz if you must go wireless.
Typically under fifteen minutes from payment confirmation. Every line is provisioned by hand rather than by an automated script, which is slower by a few minutes and considerably more reliable.
Yes. Your subscription follows your account, not your address. It works anywhere with a stable connection. Remember that only one device may be active at a time, so sign out at home before you travel.
Work through it in this order: restart IBO Player; clear the cache from Settings; switch the Live TV Player decoder in Settings; restart your router. If the problem persists on one specific channel, tell us which one — that usually indicates an upstream source we can re-route.
Yes, a full 14-day EPG populated on every channel that publishes listings. It is pulled automatically from your playlist — leave the XMLTV field empty during setup and it configures itself.
It is disabled and hidden by default on every new line. It is enabled only on explicit written request from the account holder, and can be PIN-locked through IBO Player’s parental controls. See the channel lineup for how categories are organised.
We do not build or retain a viewing-history profile tied to your identity, and we never sell subscriber data. Retention windows for the operational data we do hold are set out plainly in the privacy policy.
The CA$10.99 intro month is the cheapest possible way to answer every remaining question on your own hardware. Review the plans, skim the channel lineup, then order.
